Reaction Gas Transport Services to CBb Method Decision verdict

Gas Transport Services (GTS) has taken note of the decision by the Regulatory Industrial Organisation Appeals Court (College van Beroep voor het Bedrijfsleven) to annul the Method Decisions which were set up in December 2008 for GTS by the Netherlands Competition Authority, "NMa/Energiekamer". The NMa's Method Decisions underpin the GTS tariff system for transport and related services. It is crucial that a new, workable basis for the necessary investments in gas infrastructure be established as quickly as possible. Potentially negative impact on security of supply and market operation created by this vacuum must be strenuously avoided.
