Eucabo offers service update

Gasunie Deutschland and GTS extend online platform for cross-border capacity booking

EUCABO, the first European booking platform for crossborder capacity trading, which is operated by Gasunie-affiliates Gasunie Deutschland Transport Services GmbH (Gasunie Deutschland) and Gas Transport Services B.V. (GTS), offers a service update. As of now capacities can be booked for all working days of the following week. The new product “working days next week” can be booked from the first working day 09:00 a.m. to the last working day 11:00 a.m. of the previous week. Also the EUCABO opening hours for the hitherto existing “day ahead” product have been elongated by one hour. The daily time slot for short term bookings is now open for EUCABO customers from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

The new EUCABO product results from the evaluation of the demands of registered EUCABO shippers last year within the Gas Regional Initiative North-West Bundled Capacity project. With EUCABO Gasunie Deutschland and GTS meet the demands of shippers for flexible and short term access to cross-border transmission capacity. EUCABO contributes to the proper functioning of the internal European gas market.
