Klaas Beukema

Senior Vice President Gas Transport

In 1975, Klaas Beukema graduated from the University of Groningen with a degree in Chemical Engineering. After this he went on to obtain a doctorate in 1980 from Wageningen Agricultural University. In 1985, after a period of research in the potato starch industry, he joined N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie.
At Gasunie and GTS he has fulfilled different management functions in areas such as technical planning, gas sales and research and occupied the post of Asset Management Director from 2006.

Klaas Beukema has been appointed as Senior Vice President Gas Transport with effect from 1 January 2009.
