Connection fee
In addition to the exit tariff, a ´connection´ tariff is charged at domestic exit points for maintaining the system connection. The system connection between the national gas transmission network and the network operated by the LDC or between the national gas transmission network and the gas installation of an end user (connected parties) is known as a Gos (´gasontvangststation´; gas delivery station). A Gos is a complex of installations that are needed to make the gas available at the connection in a safe and controlled way. For industrial locations, where GTS has concluded a System Connection Agreement with an end user (connected parties), the amount charged for the connection will be settled directly with that end user (connected parties). For other connections, including those with LDCs, the connection charge will be settled with the shipper contracting the exit capacity.
