Transfer of services

The by Ewex contracted exitcapacity should by means of “Transfer of Capacity Rights” or “Transfer of Usage Rights” transfered to the supplier/shipper with whom the Ewex has concluded a gas supply contract. This should take place at least 10 working days before the start of the month in which the gas transmission is to take place. The selling supplier/shipper should send GTS a switch message at least 5 working days before the start of the supply.

GTS offers the transfer of services by two types of transfer:

Transfer Of Capacity rights and Transfer Of Usage rights.

In the case of transfer of capacity rights, all rights will be transferred from the seller (Ewex) to the buying shipper, i.e. the entire contractual position including the usage rights. The capacity becomes part of the portfolio of the buying shipper.
In the case of transfer of usage rights, the selling Ewex will retain his contractual position and right to the capacity; only the usage rights will be transferred from the seller to the buying shipper. In both forms of transaction, the tolerance is automatically transferred to the purchasing shipper, in that the capacity is included in his portfolio.
A transfer will be reported to GTS via the online booking system GEA Click & Book or via a form signed by both parties. Please see at Online application forms to apply for booking. Transfers are subject to a fixed fee per transfer. The fee will be charged to the selling party. For tarrifs see Transmission Service Conditions (TSC)
