End user with exit capacity

If you, as a connected party, have a direct connection to the GTS grid (not through a regional grid company), then you can book the exit capacity to your company. For this it is necessary to become an End user with exit capacity” (in Dutch: “Aangeslotene met exitcapaciteit, previously known as light shipper).

After booking exit capacity to your company on first come first served basis, you should, by means of “Transfer of Capacity Rights” or “Transfer of Usage Rights”, transfer the exit capacity to the supplier/shipper with whom you have concluded a gas supply contract. This should take place at least 10 working days before the start of the month in which the gas transmission is to take place. The shipper should send GTS a switch message at least 5 working days before the start of the supply.
