Connection Integrity

This information is relevant for the industrial parties directly connected to the national gas transmission grid that have to comply to the ´Aansluitvoorwaarden Gas - LNB´ (the network connection conditions).

This article concerns the gas installation of the connected party downstream of the gas receiving station, i.e. the connection.

The regulator (NMa/Energiekamer) has incorporated in the ´Aansluitvoorwaarden Gas – LNB´ that the connection shall comply with the prevailing laws and regulations. The connected party is responsible for the whole gas installation downstream of the gas receiving station.

The gas installation shall not influence the operation of the national transmission grid. As national grid operator, GTS shall safeguard the integrity of the connections.

GTS has appointed the Industrial Safety Department of NV Nederlandse Gasunie to assess this integrity.
